POLICIES
CLASSES & PARTICIPATION
DRESS CODE
Dress code is mandatory to allow instructors to properly observe body alignment, technique, and movement.
Students must wear appropriate dance attire and shoes for their class. Socks are not a safe or acceptable alternative.
Repeated failure to comply with dress code may result in the student being asked to sit out of class.
ABSENCES
Regular attendance is expected so students can progress with their class and choreography.
All absences must be reported through the parent portal so instructors are aware.
Four consecutive unexcused absences or more than five total unexcused absences may result in the student being unenrolled.
Excessive absences, even if excused, may result in removal from performance choreography at the studio’s discretion.
CLASS CANCELLATIONS
Classes cancelled due to weather, instructor absence, or other unexpected circumstances will be made up whenever possible, but make-up classes are not guaranteed.
Class cancellations do not always coincide with school closures. Any unexpected or last-minute cancellations will be communicated via email and/or text.
Tuition is based on the full season and is not adjusted for occasional cancellations.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Private lessons are available for students seeking additional instruction in technique or choreography. Lessons are available by appointment and are scheduled based on instructor availability and studio scheduling. All private lessons must be scheduled through the studio, and payment is required in full prior to the scheduled lesson.
Lessons canceled with less than 12 hours' notice, or missed without notice, will be charged in full. Students with an overdue account balance are not eligible to schedule private lessons until their account has been paid in full. Private lesson fees are non-refundable once the lesson has taken place.
SHOWCASE ATTENDANCE
Showcase and rehearsal dates are released at the beginning of the season to allow families adequate time to plan ahead. Attendance at all scheduled showcase rehearsals and performances is mandatory for students participating in the end-of-season showcase.
Students who are unable to commit to showcase week and performance requirements will not participate in the end-of-season showcase. Exceptions may be considered only in extenuating circumstances at studio discretion.
